About
My thesis aims to rehabilitate the Growing-Block view (according to which the flow of time consists in events coming into existence) by defending it against its closest rival, Presentism (according to which only the present exists). I consider a number of objections to the Growing-Block view, including McTaggart's Paradox, Bourne and Braddon-Mitchell's 'When Am I?' problem, and Zeno's Arrow Paradox. I then show that Presentism cannot match the Growing-Block view when it comes to making sentences about the past true.
