Post-Doc, Archaeology

About
I study the Early Islamic period in Spain (7th-11th centuries), mainly through pottery studies. My research in Sheffield deals with scientific analysis of pottery produced in the area of Granada (south-east Spain). Almost all the papers that I feature here are related with this topic. However, I have also developed some work in Butrint (Albania) in the Venetian-Ottoman period, besides having some years of experience in Medieval and Postmedieval archaeology in Granada.
I am very interested in questions of relations between Archaeology and History and in theoretical thinking in Archaeology in general.
Please, if you are interested in my publications, see my CV attached and get in touch.
Hopefully, I will be able to post soon some papers on my theoretical visions of technology, identity and historical archaeology... stay connected!!!
