About
My research provides a case study of the tensions within the Anglo-US wartime alliance that were generated by rivalry over oil and exacerbated by the actions of private oil corporations. My thesis conceptualises the relationship between the state and private-sector and analyses how such ties shaped the mechanics of foreign relations.
